Four Idioms
A range as wide as the
brief requires.
Italian porcelain is now a complete design language. We stock across four idioms — chosen so a single material can carry kitchen, bath, façade and terrace in one continuous palette.
01
Marble-Look
High-definition prints of Calacatta Oro, Statuario, Carrara, Paonazzo and Viola — the veining and depth of natural marble, dimensioned for jumbo islands and full-height shower walls.
02
Onyx & Agate
Translucent decorative slabs — Blue Agate, Onyx Perla, Pink Rose Onyx — engineered for backlit walls, bar fronts and feature partitions where natural onyx would not survive the brief.
03
Concrete & Stone
Cementitious and minimalist matte surfaces in greys, taupes and bone — drawn for contemporary kitchens, gallery walls and ventilated façades.
04
Wood-Effect & Textured
The warmth of plank wood and the drama of metallic or structured surfaces — specified for outdoor decks, hospitality lobbies and feature cladding that must hold up to weather and traffic.

A Field Guide
Specifying large-format porcelain
in Los Angeles.
A working reference for architects, designers and fabricators specifying Italian and Spanish porcelain slabs across Southern California — from kitchen islands and shower walls to ventilated façade cladding.
Where porcelain belongs
Vitrified at over 1,200°C and digitally imaged from real Italian blocks, the panel is impervious, UV-stable, freeze-thaw resistant and effectively zero-maintenance. For high-traffic kitchens, commercial work, ventilated façades and outdoor kitchens, it is often the right answer — and the only one that will hold up.
Houses and gauges
Antolini Stone Reborn, Xtone by Porcelanosa, Refin and Vitrum. Stocked in 6mm for cladding and façades, 12mm for verticals, and 20mm for countertops, pavers and outdoor kitchens. Panels reach 126″ × 63″ — full-height shower walls and single-slab islands without a seam.
Delivered across Southern California
The yard sits at 2303 South Sepulveda. Weekly project deliveries to Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Brentwood, the Palisades, Malibu and the Hollywood Hills, with runs to Newport Beach, Montecito and Santa Barbara.

Frequently Asked
Porcelain, briefly
answered.
A short reference for the questions architects, designers and homeowners ask most often about large-format Italian porcelain.
- Where can I see large-format Italian porcelain slabs in Los Angeles?
- Royal Stone & Tile stocks 63″ × 126″ Italian porcelain slabs at 2303 South Sepulveda Boulevard in Los Angeles. We carry Antolini, Xtone, Refin, Emil Level, Florim, Laminam, Lea Ceramiche, Materia and Mediterranean Surfaces — in marble-look, onyx, concrete, wood-effect and metallic finishes. Visits by appointment.
- What is the largest porcelain slab size you carry?
- Our standard jumbo is 63″ × 126″ (160 × 320 cm), with select pieces up to 64″ × 130″. Standard thicknesses are 6mm for walls and façades and 12mm for countertops and floors. Custom cuts, mitered edges and bookmatched pairs are available through our fabrication partners.
- Is porcelain better than natural marble for outdoor kitchens?
- For outdoor applications in Southern California, yes. Italian porcelain is non-porous, UV-stable, freeze-thaw stable and effectively stain-proof — properties that natural marble cannot match outdoors. It is the right specification for outdoor kitchens, terraces, pool surrounds, façade cladding and exposed feature walls.
- Does porcelain look like real marble?
- The current generation of Italian porcelain is remarkably close. Full-body slabs from Antolini, Xtone and Refin reproduce the veining of Calacatta, Statuario, Taj Mahal and Patagonia at full slab scale, with veining that continues through the body — not just printed on the surface. For most viewers, at countertop distance, it reads as natural stone.
- Which Italian porcelain brands do you stock?
- Antolini (the porcelain extension of the Antolini natural-stone line), Xtone (Porcelanosa), Refin (Modena), Emil Level, Florim, Laminam, Lea Ceramiche, Materia and Mediterranean Surfaces. Brands rotate based on what is moving in the LA market and what designers are specifying.
- Where is Royal Stone located and what are the hours?
- Royal Stone & Tile is at 2303 South Sepulveda Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90064. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Saturday and Sunday by appointment. Phone (310) 477-3223.
