Verde Imperiale is one of the deeper green marbles in the Antolini range — a forest-green field crossed by darker charcoal and emerald vein work, with mineral movement that reads more like aerial topography than like linear veining. Quarried in Italy and finished to Antolini's standard.
“On a dark green marble the polish is the right call — the mirror surface intensifies saturation and pulls the depth out of the field, which honed flattens.”
Polished, not honed. On a dark green marble the polish is the right call — the mirror surface intensifies saturation and pulls the depth out of the field, which honed flattens. The trade-off is fingerprint visibility, so it's better as a feature than as a daily-work surface. Best used on islands, vanity tops, fireplace surrounds, and feature walls.
73″ × 118″ in 2cm. Bookmatching across consecutive slabs is possible on request; the diagonal vein movement makes for clean mirror compositions. Walk the slab at the yard before committing — green marbles look different under cool and warm light.
