Travertino Titanium is a vein-cut travertine in the cool-gray range — neutral gray field with faint cream and taupe banding, more architectural than the warmer Classico or Romano cuts. Filled and honed: the natural pores are resin-filled to tighten the surface, then ground to a soft matte that takes daily wear cleanly.
“Open-pore travertine looks beautiful as cladding but isn't great on a horizontal surface where food and water sit on it.”
The fill is the practical move. Open-pore travertine looks beautiful as cladding but isn't great on a horizontal surface where food and water sit on it. Filled and honed runs equally well as a kitchen counter, a vanity top, a fireplace surround, or a continuous bath wall. It pairs cleanly with walnut, plaster, brushed brass, and warm whites.
Currently on the floor at Royal Stone in the standard 2cm runs. Talk to us about specific dimensions and bookmatched pairs — Italian travertine is supplied in dependable cuts but project-specific selection is best done in the yard, in daylight.
