The West LA yard has expanded its working inventory of imported Italian marble. Arrivals over the past container include the 2cm Dolce Vita Taupe honed slab at 73″ × 119″ — a warm-neutral marble with quiet linear veining, taupe and gray-beige tonality, and a matte surface that fits the warmer end of contemporary LA work.

Dolce Vita Taupe is one of the easier marbles to place in a mixed scheme: it pairs cleanly with rift oak, walnut, unlacquered brass, matte black hardware, and warm whites. At this size it'll take a full kitchen island and a backsplash from a single piece, or bookmatch into a continuous bath wall.
