Traslux is Antolini's processing program for high-translucency quartzite: slabs hand-selected at the block stage for clarity, then run through a resin-reinforcement and soft-leather treatment that strengthens the body of the slab so it can be cut and installed for backlit work without losing the light path.

The line draws mostly from the Cristallo cuts — Bianco, Brut Champagne, Tiffany Jade — where the crystal structure is fine enough to read through. The soft-leather surface keeps the matte hand of leathered stone while preserving the translucency that polish would otherwise be needed to amplify. It's a useful middle finish for vertical applications.

Traslux slabs aren't stock material; they come in by request against specific projects. Talk to us early if you're planning a backlit wall or a glowing bar — selection happens at the block, and lead times run accordingly. Yard visits to walk a current Traslux example can be arranged on short notice.
