Arabescato Corchia Italian marble slab honed at Royal Stone Los Angeles

Calacatta Taupe Monet Extra sits between the cool whites of a classic Calacatta and the deeper warmth of a Crema d'Orcia. The base is soft cream rather than bright white, with thin taupe ribbons and a finer gray webbing moving diagonally across the surface. The Monet name fits — vein density reads as brushwork rather than as the harder geological strokes of a Borghini or a Viola.

The matte surface keeps the taupe quiet and lets the warmer undertone read clearly under daylight.

Honed. The matte surface keeps the taupe quiet and lets the warmer undertone read clearly under daylight. It's a forgiving marble in mixed palettes — works with white oak, walnut, brushed brass, and warm-white paints without the cool-vs-warm fight that pure white Calacattas can pick.

Currently in the yard. Bookmatching potential is real given the directional vein structure. Stop by to see the slab in natural light before specifying.
